• Talk about change!
• Since the last posting some STUFF has changed.
• The Build "Republic" has been scrapped! It is being rebuilt, but just not the way we had the image posted.
• The new build (with the pix coming soon) is a multi stage amp.I found the layout sucked! I was getting major ripple and the bias was way off.
• So as the moto goes "One Amp..." I trashed the design (3 months worth) and have started over.
• The NEW "Republic" has some major power supply design improvments!
• The amp will still be 3 amps in one cab, but I have dropped the 4 5V6's and am going with 4) 6L6's, 4)EL34's and 4)6v6's. and the low end will
• be the 2 EL 84's.
